whats the most you can remove off (has light scaring from spun rod bearing) a b18c1? a getto shop told me 3 thousandths but i think mor and whats the biggest over sized rod bearing i can get for it and where???
also whats the difference in a b18c1 and c5 crank other than price???

The B18C5 (ITR) crank is heavier than the B18C1 (GSR) crank. I do not have my Integra manual nearby for the limits.

 

so a c1 can turn quicker?

 

The C1 has less inertia. The C5 is heavier for greater high rpm stability.

 

got ya didnt think of it that way so what can you shave off a crank to

the difference is about 2 lbs. itr is about 16kg and gsr is about 15.2kg.

im not a big fan of turned cranks but some like to argue otherwise. ive heard quite a few problems with turned cranks.
