Default d16z6 swap into 1992 civic dx

ok im doing a d16z6 swap into a 92 eg with a d16y7 motor. what parts can i use off the y7 and what parts wud i need to acquire from somewhere else to complete this swap? the z6 has nothing on it except intake manifold and i have an ecu for it as well.

you can use the header from the y7, but you're probably going to have to get a new dizzy for it.

ok thnx, what else can i use? the harness? and i read that vtec is already prewired in the 1992 civics?

very little i think. you may be able to use the starter or alternator, but i think thats about it.

92 civics are wired with vtec already to the shock tower but you still need the d16z6 engine harness. if you have a d16y7 in your vehicle already this means that the engine has been converted to obd1 already. that means u have an obd1 alternator and distributor, you probably have a d15b7 intake manifold on it. any pics of your engine bay would help alot.

i thought it was only the 92 cx hatches that were only prewired for vtec
