Loose steering Wheel?
I'm sure a noob when it comes to cars but I realize my steering wheel doesn't feel the same after the snow storm in New York two weeks ago. I slit a couple of times during the snow. I bought it to the shop, and they replaced the front left bearing? and did a alignment and it did feel better driving. The shop said everything is fine and that steering wheel on honda cars are like that. My steering wheel still feels loose compared to when I bought the car 6 months ago. It's a 1999 civic with 120k mileage on it. Is there anything I can do or should I go to another mechanic to check it out. Thanks!

Take it to another shop that will do a better job of checking it. Try getting underneath first and checking to see if anything is broken or worn severely. I just rebuilt the steering rack in my old 90 civic and it feels great. No slop at all.
Steering rack may had bee damaged, maybe internally to the point were there is a lot of leakage around the cylindar. Maybe they increased the steering ratio. Or maybe your's was so sluggish before that they did fix it.
