I have a Gen2 as some of you know,.. and my car has body damage in the rear AND some in the front.
My problem is, I don't want a "show" body kit, but I want a body kit that would look nice and simple, You feel me?
I was thinking of just getting a stock rear bumper from the junk yard and just try to even out the front and just get a paint job and rims and lower the car.
Nice-Simple.
But if I find a body kit that is like I said in the above, I might just get it for the heck of it.
Can anybody post a pic of your favorite 'simple' body kit???

oh and, I would like a front bumper that would look great with a front mount intercooler.

 

Wings West. About the only nice looking body kits around, that I know of (aside from the expensive JDM ones like Feel's, C-West, etc).

 

anything thats not too big and keeps the same basic body lines of the original look of the car.

 

something nice and clean and thats not too outrageous.

 

if you like it, buy it. who cares what the H-T ***** think.

 

yea,.. i like this kit,.. but the kit comes with inserts,.. so i still need to buy the stock bumpers and then buy that kit.
but is all good, i really like that 'simple' look.

agreed, but i still think it would look fine stock. go to the junkyard or something and get original replacements. you can always cut out the grill to accomodate an intercooler just fine.

 

for the 2nd gens there isn't many kits that you can pull off that will look good. what year is the car you have?

ive always had a thing for the second gens with the mugen bumpers....

 

go look at a japanese body kit site.. you're gonna find plenty of crazy looking kits, as well as functional kits.. but there are 394834893 companies in japan that make kits.. most of the kits are ugly, however, they're JDM..so is JDM rice now too?

 

Is there a company that makes a copy of the Mugen kit or is there any way to still track one down. that kit alone makes me want to get a 2g teg.

 

The first one is the only one I'd get for a G2. 1 piece headlights are almost mandatory though, bodykit or not.

 

Cwest Kits are nice and keep good lines. This is what my car will look like in a couple days with the cf hood too.

just buy what you like and don't care if others think it rice. Its all about you.
the only thing I suggest is to think about
1. 1 year down there road, you think your still gonna like this kit? Those wild and crazy kits can just get boring.
2. Most of your kits are fiberglass, and if you get a fiberglass, prepare for breakage.

But hey, do what you like. I'd be nice to see some clean looking kit on a civic

 

i just think as long as u like it..its all good. personally i dont want to attract too much attention to my car so thats why i didnt get a body kit...(plus im poor ) but like someone said earlier cwest does have some nice kits.

 

oh yeah thats other reason, big flashy kit means people will look at your car. people will see a kit "balllaaa" and increase chances of theft

the wings west touring or w-type kit are my favorite and they are not ricey. kaminari and other smaller companies make ricey products.
