I would just go with a complete turbo kit from a reputable company like Full-Race or Go-autoworks.
Do your research in the forced induction forum and use google : )

ya i was definetly going to go with a turbo kit juss needed advice on a real powerful bang for my buck thats not super pricey b/c some iv looked at range up to 5k =X
230 whp is nice all motor lol but some people want that boost. if ur clueless on how turbo works and how its set up theres def plenty of threads that can help and write ups. they say once u go boost u never go back!
ya my can can rip im juss tired of it i wanna try something new i understand exctly how a turbo works and all juss dont know to many name brands or high power kits
You got a 230 whp all motor car and now you want turbo? You might as well buy a new engine because almost everything in that setup is going to have to go for a turbo build. That, or you don't actually have a 230 whp all motor GS-R.
i say piece together a kit, ebay kits arnt bad honestly, t3/t4 set up prolly run u a grand, then injectors and a good tune. u ll be set
dont skip out on the tune and a wideband. those are a must

like he said ur prolly running high compression style, and thats a really good way to blow ur **** up with a turbo. anything above 10:1 is to much for boost IMO
very funny and of course imm using a new gsr motor from my old ride. and do i reall have 230 lol b18 block bored and re-sleeved with ctr pistons, micropolished and balanced eagle crankshaft, port and polished head, blox type c comp cams, aem cam gears, supertec tit. retainers and duel valve springs, spoon valves, ported intake manifold and ported throttle body 68mm all tuned on a hondata s200 p28 ecu and thats juss the major stuff you dont want the minor so pick on some little kid next time and done wast my time no dis-respect just dont like people coming at me sideways like that about my passion iv been in the game for a long while but like i said no dis-respect at all
That's great but you didn't exactly say so in your OP. Announcing that you have a fully built B18 and that it isn't enough and you want turbo without saying that you've got another engine sitting around, or even what it is, raised red flags for me. You may be legit but many first-time posters around here aren't. Also, the better the information you provide, the better your feedback will be.
On a GS-R engine 300 whp isn't super high but I don't think you could get away without doing some bottom end work and keep running for long. I'd check the turbo section and see if you can find builds that match your power goals and use those as a starting point.
I would think you could make it happen easy for $5k. If you don't get the answers you need here try again in the turbo forum.

Also, what made you decide 300 hp on an FI build would satisfy your need for speed? What's your 1/4 mile now with 230 whp? What is your 1/4 mile goal with 300 hp FI?
300 is a lot to me too, but the turbo people can push 600 on cars that can be driven on the street. H3ll, I'd be happy with 230 lol.
My buddy's GSR with 310-315 hp runs a 12.2-12.3, whereas my other buddy with 236 whp runs a 11.9-12, that's why I asked what your 1/4 mile goal with 300 hp is.
What's your setup consist of now? Perhaps you should just optimize your current setup and save some money and time instead of going FI.
I doubt 300 hp on FI build will be faster than a 12.4 sec. pass.

NP and I didn't mean any disrespect. It sounds like you're on the right track now.
