who has actually done the auto to 5 spd swap in a 98-02 accord? do you have a complete parts list?

was it worth the time and effort and money....

got any pics of the process?

I know mine will need a new tranny sooner then later, come spring id like to start buying parts for a conversion , or another auto trans....

 

I have done it. I drove 30k miles since the swap, and I enjoyed every mile of it. You'll need:
manual trans, flywheel and bolts, clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, clutch master/slave cylinders and line, pass side trans mount and bracket (you can get away with using the auto one with washers on the sides), front motor mount bracket (that bolts to the engine; auto one won't clear the slave cylinder), driver's side axle (2 piece), manual starter, 1 or 2 long trans to engine bolts, clutch and brake pedals, shifter and cables.

 

what about the instrument cluster?

The auto cluster works just fine. The wiring is for the speedo, reverse lights, and bypass so you can pull your key out even though it's not in park.
