you should have done a search cause there are already lots of help for doing swaps.

imo its not worth spending the time and money to do a swap if its gonna be auto, i havent done an auto to manual swap yet but it would deffinitley be worth doing.

the auto swap is tight. its different. go for it. just cause he is getting a b16 doesnt mean you have to race and have a 5 speed. come on be real.

It sounds like wiring the TCM is a freaking nightmare.

Yeah that link you put up was for a crx which is OBD 0 with a OBD 1 motor
when I put my B18c in my hatch all the wires connected the only thing that would need to be done is wire vtec(if you car is 93-95 and didn't come with it stock), reverse lights, and wire you auto shifter to stay in park or take the little box off the shifter while it is in park.

What tranny did you use? The B18C tranny or an LS Auto? And how's your car performing?

I have the b18c tranny, My friend wreaked my Si hatch that was manual and all I could find was this Dx auto. It kicks *** having 200+ less pounds and not so much flex in the frame from the sunroof

JDM auto B18C's seem to go for pretty good prices. On Ebay they go for $1900-2000 with tranny and ECU.

I've been thinking of getting a DX auto Hatch, swapping a B18C and boosting it (7-8psi). I think it'll be okay with that boost, I'll add a tranny cooler. I want a quick daily driver. I know manual is faster, but the traffic in my area sucks. I think I pull well on a lot of cars when the road opens up.

why not, get a b18b ls auto swap, I would think those would be more common than the dohc vtec autos.

I would love for someone to do the swap and give a complete verbal breakdown with pictures. It's never been done like that here. I've searched a lot here and I can't find to much info. A few people have done it, but they never break it down.
