im trying to get the handles off so i can get them painted. im having a little trouble. ive taken the clip off the lock rod but i cant figure out how to get the actual lock out of the handle so i can get it down far enough to get the threaded rod loose. any info or pics would be great.

 

all the rods have clips on them and then once you remove the two 10mm bolts and unclip the lock cylinder, it just comes out.

maybe this photo of the backside will help you out.


oh yeah, and for the threaded rod, you can actually pull the handle out if you take the cylinder out so you can just turn the handle to unscrew it, or you could unclip it.
