how much will my fuel system support?
i have a a1000 pump and 1600's with a driver. i made 675 on c16 and am going to be going to e85. im debating selling the old stuff and getting the dual 044s and the id1000s.thanks, cole.
WELL IDE KEEP THE 1600'S AND THE A1000 I THINK MY TUNER TOLD ME E85 TAKES 35% MORE DEMAND ON THE FUEL SYSTEM (I COULD BE WRONG) IF I AM RIGHT GOING BACKWARDS ON INJECTORS WOULDNT BE RIGHT. I AM KINDA IN THE SAME BOAT RIGHT NOW I WANT TO MAKE 700+, BUT NEED TO GO TO ID2000'S IM ON THE COMPLETE A1000 SETUP.
HE RUNS THE DUAL 044 PUMPS ON THERE PRO-AM AND I THINK ITS NEAR 800HP ON C16

I sold my my A1000 pump and regulator and went with the dual 044 with a weldon regulator and id1000's and made 765 on q16. My tuner told me I had made a good choice by going with the dual 044s.
But if your going to go with e85 i would suggest the id2000

i had an areomotive eliminator and 1600's and was running out of pump at 600whp. Put a weldon pump in and never looked back and it was the almost the same price and converting to 2 044's with the price of the extra lines & fittings.
the weldons can go from anywhere around 550 used to 800 new? been a while since i got mine.
on a side note, the 2015's are the only elec pumps that weldon says on their site can run over 100 base (they have a 0-160psi rating) the 2015's are good to 1000 crank +- so factor that into your figuring.
