well the suspension has been very stiff and when its that stiff something is bound to go wrong on a road with bumps. The car is made from aluminum not steel.. :/

No I actually just bought her. The dealership said they will take a look into it and see what they can do.. Relaxed me a little..
the top hats on those coilovers must be made wrong or there are washers between the top hats and the body. thats pretty much impossible with a proper top hat.
and the only thing aluminum on the car is the hood.. everything else is steel.
pull the shocks off, see whats causing it, fix it, use a hammer, beat the mess flat, use a washer under the nuts or have a piece welded on top of it all..
damage like that is fairly common the rear of e36 3 series bmw's.

It almost seems/looks as if the tophats fit incorrectly or they are not tightened down all the way. Like Jdogg said.. jack it up and take a look

~$300-500 id say... but you shouldnt have to pay anything for the damages... the dealership should take full responsibility... did you buy it from honda??? if so, they have to do there 120 point safety check and that should have been a red flag...
and you have no luck with this car... your friends mom hits you within the first day of getting the car and now this...

No I actually got it from a New Dealer that just opened up. They seemed fairly nice when I called them they told me to bring in the car and have it check out. First I need to get it finished by the body shop because someone reared into my front.

Well I found out the problem causing it! The previous owner put a bolt underneath it the tower on the coils and also on top so basically the plate was in between two bolts. People are sooo stupid! I'm just gonna pull em out flatten out the plate and then put em back on and with a washer.. Should I weld or not?

Okay! Thank You everyone!!! As for fixing the front Geico is cutting me a check for 2,008.98$ Im getting the car fixed at a different shop for 1300$ remainder of the money using it for new TCT as well then a exhaust system. Then everything should be in good working order. Maybe I should put a whole garlic in the car to get rid of the bad eye lol.. My parents would always give me a garlic to put in my pocket when I was a little kid lol
