I have a higher mileage 1995 wagon (4cyl) - 225K miles. A couple days ago, while driving, the car all of a sudden began to stutter/lunge and the car slowed to a crawl. It does't lose electrical power, and if I nurse the clutch and accelerator, I can get the car up to ~25 or 30 MPH, but never over 3000 RPM. The car starts up just fine when cold, but then when it gets warm after 20 minutes or so, the sypmtoms return. It sounds as if something is stuck or clogged - I even get some popping/backfiring noises that come from the engine compartment. I replaced the fuel pump yesterday, but that didn't solve the problem...please help!!!
