Default E30 M3 DTM Suspension Tech

Came across this elsewhere this morning, and it was just too cool not to cross-post.

The first link has some GREAT pics of DTM suspension pieces and design. Among many, this was one of my favorites:

Ideas, anyone? This gave me many...

In car adjustable...wow
Them brake ducts are just way off the hook.
I wish there was way to see how the end of the duct secured to the knuckle.

That's more like a universal truth than an idea

Cool stuff. Some of my old R/C cars used blade type sway bars on the front end. Neat to see if on a full size car.

Yep. The older 1/10th (235mm) and 1/8th gas on-roads utilized bladed sways.

This is by far my favorite quote so far.

http://www.e30m3project.com/e30m3per...isc/misc12.htm

"...The cage is not clearly shown but I included this picture anyway because it is fun to look at. "

I have alot of experience with blade sway bars on rc cars.I used them front, back and in different designs.I always wanted to put a rear kit on my real race car and recently found a place that makes them for Honda. Genesis.Too bad I cant use the in-car adj. variety.

I like to look at stuff on here too - http://www.touringcarspares.com/parts.php

Its a mix of "holy ****, I can't believe that thing is that cheap!" combined with, "they want that much for that chunk of ****?!?"

Yea,cool parts and cars on that site. It must be nice playing with "a few year old,but still competitive" cars. We are barely dabbling with our 15 yr old cars! haha
