Winter tire sizing help.
i got a 91 crx the tires that are on it are 195 60 r14 i need to get some snow tires for it and the firestone winterforces only come in 195 70 r14. i need to know if they will clear. plus the car has skunk 2 sport struts, and skunk 2 lowering springs. any and all help will be appreciated. also if anyone is using any different snow tires and beg to differ on my choie dont hesitate to list other brands that are bomb. on tire racks rating system they are damn good so lemme know whats up.

70 has a taller side wall than 60. So umm, it depends how LOW you are, and how firm your ride is. =P
That's why no one has posted. Safer is to get the proper size, or even look at 185s... better for winter. But make sure the RIM supports changing the WIDTH.

Just installed some Hankook iPikes W409's on my '91 CRX HF in Dec (175/70/R13). Considering I just drove to VA from UT over the last three days, I can honestly say these are seriously awesome tires for winter. If your state allows it, get them studded.

alrite cool guys. thanks alot. im probally just gonna stick with the blizzaks ws60's. i dont risk those winter forces rubbing. even though there dope as hell lol.
