Buying used OEM ITR parts online
Hey guys,
I have always wondered what you guys do, if you do anything special, when buying OEM ITR parts online. Personally, I am against buying potentially stolen parts, especially since the ITR is such a highly stolen and stripped car.
Anyway, I have been casually looking for a stripped ITR for a few years to rebuild. I was curious what precautions you guys take when buying OEM parts from people online. I am highly skeptical of parts like USDM speedometers, CF climate controls/trim, OEM seats, 5-lug swaps, and door panels. It's amazing how many of these parts I see for sale online.
Just curious.

Sometime the prices are too good to be true people still buys them. Even though in the back of their head they know it might have been stolen. People sometime do a Don't ask Don't tell. Sad but true.
i don't think i have ever bought a usdm itr part except one ecu which came from a wrecked car. everything else came from harry's and was overnighted from japan
