Default Valve cover and gasket sealant

I recently changed my WP/belts on a 1998 Accord F23A1 engine.

I had to remove the valve cover to get the belt covers off, and when I reassembled, I got some leaks from the valve cover gasket and three of the five valve cover bolt seals.

The leaking isn't major, it's slow, but it's messy and annoying.

I was thinking of taking it off and resealing with a gasket sealant. I have loctite #3 gasket sealant on hand, so I was thinking of using that.

Any advice as to whther this is good or bad idea for any reason? Also, is it usual that the gasket and bolt cover seals should start leasking like this after one removal/replacement?

Get a new set of seals. Heat and time causes the old ones to take a set so there is relatively little compression of them when reinstalling.
