vin numbers

why dont type r trannys have any vin plates but they have the hole?????

The USDM trannys have VIN's on them - The JDM ones do not

cuz most all of them have been stolen...

and of course like he said, JDM ones dont have tags. you can tell the difference: US will have threads in the holes, JDM wont.

okay thanx guys... because i just bought a ctr trans and it worries me living in cali the cops find anything out here to impound ur car... lol
