Default Benifits Of An Apexi SAFC

Ok I have a 94 integra ls with intake exhaust car and a header soon. I was wonderign how much an SAFC with help my car with it probally set to the car and installed. Does any one have on on there rs/ls/gs and have some experiance you could share about it. Thanks

You don't need it unless you get aftermarket cams, turbo, supercharger, or NOS.

can you use a safc on a vtec motor...whats the difference between the safc and vafc other than the vtec...

see currently i have a 94 ls turbo...but this winter im changing heads and rebuilding the block...so, would i be better off with the safc or a vafc

S-AFC=non-vtec
V-AFC=vtec

u still gotta tune the AFC to work with your setup. even with minor boltons.. its not worth it.

On my car with aftermarket cams I only had minor gains across the power band. I can send you before and after dyno charts. If you take your car to a dyno and have it tested with a wide band O2 you could possibly pick up 1 or 2 hp here or there and gain a little gas mileage because of the finely tuned Air/fuel ratio. Let me know if you want to see my settings now that it is tuned. It will blow your mind what the VAFC settings look like. You ABSOLUTELY cannot tune a fuel computer without a Wideband O2 sensor.
