i got a d15b8 block with a zc non vtec head. it has a vtec wiring harness. p06 ecu. i cut the two vtec wires off the ecu and it did nothing. it redlines at like 5700rpm. my old civic revved out to 6800 with a p06, and i dont no how to get this one to rev out. any help thanks

 

So before you wired up vtec it revved and now it doesn't? Obviously you ****ed up. Redo it and double check your work. Make sure your wires arent grounded out somewhere as well.

 

no i bought the car with a vtec harness and non vtec engine so its the same **** as if u unplugged the vtec plugs it will only rev out to about 5700rpm. i wanted to no how to get it to be non vtec again to rev out right
