Default Getting rid of the JDM speed-limiter

Ok, I recently bought a jap-import DelSol SiR.

It seems to have the JDM 180km/h limiter since it feels like it cuts the fuel injection in 5th gear when going fast enough.

Now, I tried to get info on this by the search function, but it seemed like all the topics just got full of ppl asking why someone needs to go that fast on public roads etc. so I´ll make it clear that I´m going to be doing all the high speed driving on the ice of a frozen lake, in a controlled enviroment with no other traffic.

I know you can get rid of it with upgrading to a chippable ECU, but are there any other ways? It seems like it´s hitting the fuel cut rather at a certain RPM in 5th-gear, and that the speed sensor has nothing to do with it. The reason I think so is that I can run it way over 180 on the speedo before the cut kicks in, I guess that´s because mine has a different tranny than stock with longer gear ratios.

Any help will be appreciated!

The RSM seems like a nice gadget, been looking at it for a while online now.

Are there any other options than the Apexi?
