Rear Fog Light on EG Hatch??
No idea, but my moms Jaguar has them from the factory. They look like the brakes are applied all the time but once you actually hit the brakes it looks like daylight behind you. They also come in handy when the person behind you has their high-beams on.

well i installed these on efs. make a template of the trim around the fog. trace on bumper and cover surrounding area that you dont want to scratch or cut on accident with blue painters tape. take a dremel and cut it. If your not sure let someone who has experience put them on. as for wiring i didnt use a switch cuz the person i did it for didnt want it and always wanted the lights on when parking/headlights are on. just extend wires and wire them to the licence plate lights. btw those fog are for 88-91 civ/crx and integras. but theyll still look alright on eg hatch and coupes. heres the real one http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/yhst-1408381..._2083_21477634
Yeah I know there not especially made for the eg, but they look clean... Thats pretty much what I had in mind about doing(with the template n dremel).. Thanks for your input

get some tape. Mask an outline of where your going to cut out. remember its always better to cut a little then cut alot. Then take a small kitchen knife or something you dont need. Heat it up until its red hot. Then cut inside the tape. Smooth it out with the side of the knife by going around the area. Then test fit it.

:.. Well I pretty much got the idea of cutting a precise hole on my bumper, now my question is, How is it secured there??
Where is the bracket gonna go? Does it just go behind the fog or is it tied down to the back bumper support???
HAHA, mostly EDM i think?

The only real OEM rear fog light for 5th gens is the EDM version that has it built into the tailight. The one you are looking at is just an EF rear foglight, its not clean, and its not JDM, EDM or whatever, the only place you'll see them are on USDM cars where people don't know any better and try to look trendy.

^^ Yeah, do it right and do it for very very little money. Put away your awful aftermarket/4th Gen thing and follow my DIY. No holes in bumpers. Very clean.

Not hating on the oem one, but id rather keep the 4th gen style..
Nice DIY by the way, I read it a while back when I was looking into the rear fog...
Thanks for all those helping out.. Keep'em coming
do you have the mounting bracket?
I didnt have one because i bought mine used from England.
I used Epoxy and Silicone to hold it in place.
so far so good
i didn't have to mess with my bumper support
