Default oil pressure on remanufactured D15B7

I have installed a remanufactured D15B7 (long block) in my Del Sol and filled it with oil. I cranked it for about 30 seconds with the ignition disabled but am getting no oil pressure. The engine was test run before it was shipped so I imagine it had pressure then. Any suggestions?

Are you doing a mechanical test?

No, and I know I should, but I am just watching the idiot light.

Problem solved, took the plugs out and cranked it, bam! oil pressure...

I verified oil getting to the head through the fill hole.
