if actually adjusted it stabilizes the back part/rear roof of your car.

longer bolt, or lose a washer. i had one in my old coupe with the rear seat belts still.

aite i tryed what u guys told me and it still wont go in it acts weird i got pissed off and going to try again tomorrow. what happen is that the seat belt retractors make it to long for me to put the c pillar bar with it so im stuck one side will go in but the other wont go in and it becomes too long for the c pillar bar to bolt up.

the c pillar in a hatch isn't a "bling bling" part. for hatches the c pillar in fact helps stiffen the chassis, because there hatches they have alot of flex back there.

If your hatch is like mine then it'll take some patience to put on. Ive taken my c-pillar bar off a few times for hauling purposes and tried putting it back on and the bolts wont find the threads. Just make sure you get the bolt perfect and itll go on no problem.

It is a royal pain in the *** to do it. It took me about 45 minutes to get the second bolt in. Keep messing with the adjustment on the bar itself screwing the bracket in and out a little at a time and you'll eventually get it.
