First drive of 2010
Well, it was pretty nice out today so wife and i decided that it wouldn't be a bad idea to take the R for a cruise up hwy 9 in Saratoga. Well, once we were on hwy 9 the road was wet and the sun was coming down pretty quickly so we turned around and headed back home. I really regret not leaving the house earlier but there's always tomorrow for a "hwy 9 update" opportunity. Not too many pictures of the R, but here are some pics of heR out of 2009 hibernation. Happy new year everyone.

Update
I was also up there on Sunday but it wasn't pleasant. Met up with a few H-T members and team-integra members that morning and everything was fine up until we got on the road. One of the driver's that was with us that day was involved in an accident. It was on the turn right before the fire house. You might've seen it. It was the blue s14 that was on the side of the road. Long story short of the accident, a motorcyclist leaned too hard and came into his lane. The driver (my cousin) panicked, slammed his brakes lost control of the rear hit a ditch and rolled it 3 times. He walked out of the accident without a scratch. The cyclist that was involved took off. I guess he didn't see that he caused an accident. Car is totaled but my cousin still has his life and his mother still has her son and thats all that matter to me. Here are some pictures.
After my brother pulled my cousin out of the driver side window( he's in the white sweater). My younger brother is in the black sweater.

Pulling out whatever he can pull out of his car before it gets salvaged out

Whats left from his s14

And to keep it R related, heres my car parked on the side when i noticed that it was my cousin in that crushed blue car.

And this is my brother's R. Chipped his spoon lip when he also pulled into the rocky road.

Yeah, its definitely sagging. I never noticed til' now. Car has been sitting in the garage for so long now. Now i have something to work on for this weekend! I'm currently running omnipower full street suspension with f10k and R8k. Now that I'm part of Nor Cal Nasa, the R will see more track time this year. Anyone else here in Nor Cal Nasa?
No update today unfortunately. Didn't get a chance to take the R out because of some prior engagements. Tomorrow ill be free and ill be up there. I'm also going to hook up my gopro (non HD
) for a short video of the road for you guys to enjoy. Thanks for all the response.
