has anyone used/is using this intake? Its around $100 but every picture i see it looks like it just comes with the filter and parts to mount the filter on an existing intake pipe. I have only read good things about this but i just want to know if it even comes with the piping?

 

Might as well get yourself a carb legal intake or some cheaper intake. There is no hp difference. Your best hope for any significant gain in hp is to get a 3inch pipe with a good filter.

 

Buying a name brand intake is retarded unless your a JDM fanboy and need a whale ***** or cf bullshit. Buy a cheap pipe from here craigslist for $10 and put on a good filter.

for the money i would get a bpi velocity stack and the corresponding filter.

 

if i did that what piping would i use? personally i dont think $100 is bad for the apexi, i just dont know if it comes with the piping.

 

its just a pipe.. as long as the bends are smooth, and you have a good filter, you will get the same HP off of a 20 dollar autozone intake as that one.. lol..

just go cheap... get the piping from pepboys or autozone, and just use a K&N filter instead of the one that comes with the intake
