Ok im not a noob ive been in the game for some time, im just not too familiar with type-r swaps, i was looking into getting a JDM ITR Swap for my crx and ive heard diff. stories and rumors of the ITR swap, ive heard 98'-below spec itr has 200hp and the 99-01 spec have 210hp, i know the 99+ has the nice jdm header i just wanted to see if anyone knows for sure i dont know what to believe cuz iv heard there all 200 except the usdm is 195 then i heard the 99+ is 210?
There is a '96 spec and '98 spec version of the JDM B18C ITR engine. 1995 and 1997 are the same spec referred to as the '96 spec, and some upgrades were made for the 1998-2000, '98 spec engine. All producing the same ammount of power. The '98 spec did come with a better performance header, and the '98 spec ITR had a closer ratio trans then the '96 spec.
96' Spec (ITR '95-'97) JDM B18C ITR Engine - 200Hp 134Trq 11.1 Compression
98' Spec (ITR '98-'00) JDM B18C ITR Engine - 200Hp 134Trq 11.1 Compression

Ok Thanks, And forcefedferio I Posted In This Tread Because I Figured You All Would Know More About ITR Motors Since It Is A ITR Thread So No Need To Be A Dick
Trending Topics
98 JDM ITR has slightly more torque than the 96 spec(18.5kg/m vs. 19.0kg/m) , but have the same HP (200ps)...hasn't this been discussed before???
And forcefedferio is right, this not the right place to discuss swaps. ITR guys don't like hearing about our motors in other cars....

Hybrid forum is for motor swaps and such
92-2000 civic/del sol for 5th gen and 6th gen civics and del sols
88-91 civic/crx for 4th gen civic and crx's
appearance/cosmetic for picture whoring and what not
Integra Type R for you guessed it, integra type R's not crx's with a motor that's worth more than the car.
Just because we are ITR guys doesn't mean we know any more than the guys in the motor swap section or hell even the 88-91 civic/crx section. Without the things here being related to atleast having an ITR chassis, we may as well take the ITR forum, the 94-01 integra forum, and the 92-2000 Civic forum and mash them all into one butt**** of noobs who have champagne dreams on a beer budget.
ITR guys know everything, that was made clear on here a long time ago remember?

We can only hope so. That would be an appropriate home for him.

well technically honda made a usdm b18c5 in '99, canada in known for having a '99 itr though.
More importantly and just asking a strait question needing help, I own a ITR too, doesn't mean I have to be high and mighty over other people.
