I just bought a 95 prelude with a jdm h22. When I start picking up some speed, the car shakes a little when i accelerate. But when i drive at a normal speed it doesn't shake, only when accelerating. The owner before me said the car has energy motor mount inserts in it also with a lighter flywheel. Could one of those be the problem?
Check your ball joints! Park someplace flat and point your wheels perfectly straight ahead then pull on your wheel at the top HARD. If there is any play replace your upper ball joint. I had the exact same problem. It could very well be the axle but this is more commonly a ball joint issue.
I had shaking as well, altho it was at all times of driving, turns out the wheels needed to be balanced. After I got them balanced it still shakes a tiny bit, but the steering joints are a little loose, and prolly should be replaced on mine :D

the upper and lower ball joints has been replace, and just got new rims and tires 2 month ago. i think it's the cv axle i might have to change it. how do i no what side is bad??
Physically look and see which one looks worse? idk.. thats a good start. I would say the one that has a torn cv boot or is slingin grease could be the culprit.
If neither one looks damaged or worn out.. then Idk.

both side cv axle looks brand new. not even a rip boot. i think i might take it to a tire shop and ask them if they can check it out
I just though of something. Check to make sure your CV axle nuts are tight. If the axles were recently replaced then they might not have been tightened all the way. Also check that the ball joints are tightened as well. If they were replaced recently then the also may be loose. If it's only shaking during accel then it strongly points to axles/balljoints
check your balance shaft belt......(its the small timing belt looking thing)
check motor mounts too
check motor mounts too

In the vast majority of cases, a vibration only upon acceleration is caused by a bad inner CV joint. Most of the other possible causes listed here - such as a bent wheel or various suspension problems - would be evident all of the time, not just during acceleration.
Even if the axles look "new," they may still be faulty, especially if they are remanufactured axles from a chain parts store. I've seen plenty of those click and vibrate straight out of the box.

easy way to see if your axles are bad in go to an open parking lot or somewhere you have space. turn your steering well full left and acclerate, if you here clicking its ur axles... and the turn to the right all the way.. if you here nothing isn't ur axles.. also simple thing make sure your lug nuts are all still tight. sometime shops tighten the lug nuts in a circular style instead of a star which evenly tq all of them.
You will only get a clicking noise if the problem lies with an outer CV joint. Inner CV joints are of a different design and will not click when they are bad. Inner CV joints also don't articulate much if at all when turning the steering wheel. Thus, your "test" will only detect a faulty outer joint, not a faulty inner joint.
