Default abs reset problem

so yesterday i did a tan to black dash swap but i kept the same tan air bag that was in my car with the black dash becuase the black dash was from a 95 and the connector is different from my 00 connector.
the problem is now my abs light is on and it never was before but maybe i missed something somewhere so if any one can chip in and help me out that would be great is just really a bugger

Jumper the two-pin connector in the passenger side foot well. Turn the key to the run position. Read the ABS light codes.
