Emergency!! Please help!
Ok, so I decided to change my timing belt, water pump and tensioner on my "new" to me Civic Vx when the damn crank pulley broke. Now, the driver's side axle spins when I turn the pulley bolt. Is this normal? I don't remember it moving before, but I can't really remember. The car isn't completely off the ground, only the driver's side tire is up. I would REALLY APPRECIATE IT if someone could answer this for me to either put my mind at ease or so I can begin troubleshooting what else messed up. Thank you in advance.

Yes. You need a crank pulley holding tool to keep the pulley (and so axle) from spinning while you apply torque to the bolt. There are a few different pulley types, and so a few different tools. Search Ebay for {honda pulley tool} to get an idea of what is needed.
