Default Bay Area Dyno meet video. 8/31/02

Roaringturtle's car

Those are the only pix I took. Few more cars showed up after I took those never had a chance to take more. The silver RSX put down 180whp with just an intake.

yup... DEMENTED is a team in fairfield.

anyone got a pic of my car?
actually... i made 197.5hp and 168.6torque. not too bad... but i expected 200+. hittin 200+ hp is no problem... i just gotta work on tuning and opening up my exhaust alittle more.

my setup: DRAG3 kit, ACT clutch, MSD, and 2.5 catback exhaust. (thats it. )

The RSX S put out a whooping 180whp with just an AEM intake and is on 17's. That a 10% drivetrain loss.

not to sound skeptic but the 180 seemed like a possible fluke. it happened in a violent jump at the very end of the graph, and the next two runs ran 175 =X

i just got my copy of import tuner today. there is a stock rsx that only got 160+ hp on the dyno before it gained 20+hp from an intake and exhaust.

his RSX did pretty good for being stock. he pretty much got around the same hps as modded ITRs.

Well, this is what he made:
1) 180.3 HP 129.6 TQ
2) 175.9 HP 129.1 TQ
3) 175.5 HP 128.8 TQ

I think the reason behind the spike was that Su(atp guy) bounced the rev limiter in an eye blink as is seen on the video that I posted. The other 2 runs is not far from the 180 and this leads to me thinking that the K20A motor has lots of potential going beyond the rev limit.

LOL! Small world. I ended up being a runner up that night and earned me a trophy. I ran against that 2 toned colored civic, pretty sure you remember because the officials had to do a coin toss, but unfortunately, I redlighted with a .354 reaction time and just lost it.

When I ran you, I think i hit a 14 flat @99mph and I thought you got me until I looked at the timeslip. Good run btw.
