somy buddy did a obd1 b18b1 swap on his eg and when hes climbing up to 3k it starts to sound like its 2 stepping..wat do you guys think is the prob?

 

I think you didnt give enough info on the car. Is this free rev, while driving, stock motor, stock ecu, chipped ecu, new gas, old gas, bad plugs, bad pump, bad timing, bad compression, bad wiring, bad install, bad distributor?

 

any check engine lights

 

ok sorry...its stock motor with stock ecu..its not chipped and yes it happens when he is driving...thats all i know about it

 

replace the distributor with a known good one
