Will P215/45ZR17 wheels fit a '93 Del Sol?
if you are talking about stock rims, no they will not.
you would need to get your fenders rolled in or roll around 4x4 if you don't want to rub.

i dont think they'll go on, and if they do it'll make the car look like a crop sprayer or a cart, and the car will tram line like hell with that wide a tire. 205/40/17 would be a wiser bet
I don't think those will fit. I have a del Sol and the 205/40's I have can rub from time to time. This is of course depending on how low you have your car. if you are looking for more contact patch....
I forget the name but somebody makes a 225/35/ZR17 that you might want to look into. The del Sol in the new SCC uses this size. not to mention he has them mounted on 7.5" wide rims. Offset is Crucial.

I have 215/45 17 tires on my Enkei Shogun rims with Sprint lowering springs (lowers 2.5") in my 93 Del Sol ... good clearance.
Its not the tire size of 215 you should worry about, its the rim offset.
