Wanna know what you guys think of a 65mm JG TB from Edelbrock, what increased performance will i get with my CAI AEM, and DC Header 4-2-1!
A guy on the street is selling it for 225 US$ , anyone can help with a new price!, wanna check if the $225 is ok!
Regards,

So basically if I do not install a upgrade manifold I won't feel any difference now? but what about the 60mm stock VS 65 mm JG TB size?
What time do you think I will reach on my recent 1/4 mile 15.10.
regards,

get a friggin exhuast first
You'll feel minimal gains now but once you start modding you'll be happy in the end.
man be careful. i bought on just like 2 weeks ago to go with my skunk 2 intake manifold and i go to put it on and its was smaller. im in the process of getting my money back now. i didnt think to mesure it when i bought it because it was a friend that sold it to me. just make sure and measure it first. i thought i was getting a great deal for only 175 but i was wrong.

I don't know if its BS,but import tuner tested a jg throttle body and showed a gain on the dyno of 5 whp and 5 lbs of tq,so I think if matched wright you should notice a slight gain on the butt dyno.
It was in import tuner,I still have the mag at home because I was thinking of making that my next mod.

maggsgsr,
Which issue (month) of import tuner ?
What other mods they have on the test car ?
I already have intake/header and currently am considering T/B as
the next mod.
Thanks

I have to check, you can find this info when they installed the crower cams on the SSB GSR about 2 years ago.The same issue has a SI dyno with I/H/E,read and they'll tell you there baseline was like 162 with I/H/E/TB and 124lbs tq,and they say we previously installed the JG throttle body and 5 whp and 5 lbs of tq.I'l find out when I go home.

Man, I really do not know why nobody can give me a straight answer, nobody has this TB installed , it's one of the best on the market and nobody knows nothing!
And why would they make it anyway? please help me out, since a guy with a GS bought one , ans recieved a TB for a gSR, and is selling it now , to get rid of it!

I would think about how far you want to take your car. If you are planning on continuing with modifications, and have a good strategy in place for your parts, then yes, it is worth it. However, if you just buy this, slap it on, and call it good, then it is not really worth your money.
So, Long haul = good deal.
Short term = not much bang for your buck.
My 2 coppers worth anyways...

I got a JG throttle body before the company joined Edelbrock. What a piece of junk. JG = Just Garbage
Because of a poor seal the throttle body made my car throw a CEL. The car was running erractically. I could barely drive around the block. I tried reseting the ECU and the problem came back in minutes. Take your t/b and have it bored out by RC engineering.

It depends on your engine package and goals.
A larger diamater throttle body will sacrifice flow velocity for flow quantity. This will effect volumetric effeciencey, and can alter your powerband. If your current throttlebody isn't a bottleneck in terms of airflow, the larger throttlebody will just reduce your low end and midrange power.
You can't just say, a throttlebody adds 5whp, because it depends from engine to engine and setup to setup.
