A friend of mine got his EG hatch stolen in Fullerton this weekend. It was found in Riverside 2 days later. Just wanted people to keep a look out for somone trying to sell his parts. The hatch was painted the Audi TT gun metal color. All body parts were stripped off of it (bumpers, fenders, headlights etc.) Luckily he had taken the LS vtec out for a re-build, and was running his stock motor. They did take his Fluidyne radiator and other misc engine parts though. Also stolen were his 17" white 5 zigen rims. Thats all I can think of at the moment. Just if anyone sees somone trying to sell parts that sound like these drop me an email. That would be much appreciated.

Damn that sucks! Thats why you layer up on the security systems, or never drive your car to school.

during my time as a community service officer i noticed that a LOT of cars get stolen from cal state fullerton. most of them from lot E. can you ask your friend where his car was stolen and around what time? im really curious, thanks.

one time some guys in my class had their car stolen...they then saw it leaving the campus and started running after the guy on foot until it reached the freeway. cops saw all this and chased the guys. they pulled over and ran away, leaving the car with a screwdriver in the keyhole. check this out the car was some old buick type car. even the owners were surprised someone would steal it

I dont know the guy personally nor do I know his precise taste. All I know is that Katman has a similiar color on his EG.

 

The color of the hatch was the same as Katmans, but in no way was the car like his. My buddy Doug owns the car. He does not come on H-T, or any online boards. He just has his civic, and drives it. Some tastes we agree on, others we dont.

All I know, is he lives on campus in some "new dorms" and it was taken in the middle of the night. I will try to get some better details as well as pictures.

Parking in a garage is also a good theft deterrent. If you can't park your car in a garage, don't be surprised if your car gets ripped off, especially if you own a

My car was stolen because I was an idiot and didn't park in the garage. But then again, if a thief wants your car bad enough and has patience, there isn't much that can save you car, except an AK and a lot of speed.

Hope your boy finds his car in good condition, Dr. Kimbell. There are a lot of thiefs that are plain stupid or just out for a joy ride.

uh oh, i better watch out. i go there.... but then again im only there like 3 hours a day, 2 days a week. and i park in carpool. i always thought fullerton was safe. i guess at night its not so safe. ill keep my eyes open man.

Just got back from my friends dorm at Fullerton. The car is at another friends garage in Irvine ready to be put back together. These have the be the stupidest criminals i have ever seen. They stole the ****** gas cap. How lame is that. From the pics you can see what else is missing. The car was orginally red, but as you can see was in the progress to be completly re-done.
