ect sensor
not too long ago my car was tripping, it wouldnt turn on it would just sit there and turn but wouldnt come,if i could manage to turn it on and the temperature reach idle, it would turn back on with the key. i just moved to a different location so to move it to my new place i had to push start it, i parked it and didnt mess with it at all.....well the other day while trying to find out why it was doing that i turned the key and bamm!!, it started, the temperature aoutside was like 70...when its cold outside it wont start.....could it be the engine coolant temperature sensor thats bad and thats why it wont start in cold weather? if not what could it be?
first off, does it even crank over? or does it do NOTHING AT ALL when you turn the key?
if it does nothing at all when you turn the key, then its probably your ignition switch behind the key cylinder
if it cranks and never starts, check your fuel system, specifically your main relay
and like said above, its NOT the ECT..
