P0452 Engine Code help ASAP
Ok, I own the 1998 Acura Integra LS automatic non-vtec. Lately, an engine code popped up and my OBD-II scanner picked it up as a P0452 code. I did search, saying gas cap tightening, but I've done that everytime I fuel up and still have the same code. Any other things I need to look at for this code?
does the code reset and clear? if not read this The Fuel Tank Pressure sensor changes resistance based on the fuel tank pressure (or vacuum). A vacuum is considered negative pressure.
The PCM provides a 5.0 volt reference and a ground. The Fuel Tank Pressure sensor signal varies between ground and 5.0 volts as fuel tank pressure varies. The Fuel Tank Pressure sensor voltage increases as the fuel tank pressure decreases (negative pressure, or vacuum). The Fuel Tank Pressure sensor voltage decreases (positive pressure, low voltage) as the fuel tank pressure increases. The PCM uses the Fuel Tank Pressure sensor voltage for EVAP system leak detection. This DTC sets when the Fuel Tank Pressure sensor signal goes below a predetermined value.
where do u live are you up north also?? check connections for corrosion...

it would be under the drivers side near the fuel tank, this is prolly whats causing the light to come on I found this on http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/...All&vinsrch=no
04101-P72-A00 SENSOR ASSY., VENT PRESSURE 128.00
while ur under there i would replace this too 17371-S02-L01 VALVE (TWO-WAY) 41.70
this should fix the problem....

it will just make sure u get the check eng light reset, there are a few other things to check like for vac leaks and other emissions parts like VALVE, CANISTER VENT SHUT and VALVE (THREE-WAY)..these are located in the engine bay on the passenger side near the battery almost directly under the battery. numbers 11 and 12 in the drawing...
