My driver's side seat belt is soaked when I pull it out of the side pocket and there is no obvious leak. How is this happening? Also while driving in a rain the other day, the water dripped on me from the down slope of the driver's window, towards the front, so water is getting in higher up somehow.

 

Has the van been wrecked? Look at the fit between the drivers door and the body, also check the weatherstripping in the same area. You should be able to see something.

 

In regards to my transmission, yes working fine, "purrs like a kitten".

Now the SRS light came on so I am off to the dealer again to see.

As far as the water leak goes, I bought it 6 years ago, and have not been in a wreck. But I will check that seal around the driver's door, I do not see any rust on top unless it is under that black strip on the roof.
