A/C unit removal
so the weather is getting colder in my area and i was thinkin about removing the a/c in my 94' cx..but i wanted to see if there was any good DIY out there..and if not wat are the procedures to do to remove the freon out of the system properly..thanks

1. Install winter glove on your hand just in case.
2. Grab phillips screwdriver...
3. Look around as if you're about to tell a really bad racist joke...
4. Uncap and...................... Well you got it.
Then just pull all the ****. You can leave the condenser inside the dash if you want, it wont hurt anything. Otherwise you'll have to open up the whole heater system inside the car. Remove the dash to get to it properly.

The ultimate removal of my AC in my EJ1 project finally happened when the line going into the firewall was in the way and prevented me from installing the Optima Red Top I got for free. Figure it was about time to pull it since that was the eventual plan anyway. Besides, it really didn't blow cold anyway.

lol thats how mine is..unless my car is in the shade it wont blow cold..but i got another question..if i remove the a/c unit will i loose my heater??
