Okay some of you may have read my post about getting some JDM HRV's really cheap brand new and me not knowing whether I should leave them white or paint them black, well I have decided to get them soon and here is a pic of a friends car same color as mine with the HRV's rims in white............so leave them white or paint them black that is the question????

 

looks good in white, but i'd say go with the black, like a flat black.

I cant remember the exact weight but with a 205/40 (from memory no flames) they weigh alot less than the stock rims, they are aslo produced by Honda Japan and have Honda Japan cast into the back No cheapo copies here..........

I am leaning a little towards black myself just cant decide between flat or gloss......

Get white if you like cleaning brake dust off your rims EVERY DAY

Get black if you're lazy

Leave them white, then when they get old and f'kd up then make 'em black.

urrrrr okay I am guessing you dont get the Honda HRV, it is a two door SUV a bit smaller than the CRV and a bit cheaper...............these are the rims that come on the JDM ones and they are the exact bolt pattern and offset for the R

 

Here is some pics of an HRV.......oh they come if four door as well but the two door is the one that the rims come on in JDM (so I am led to believe)

 

This post actually helps me alot..im buying JDM ITR rims...and i wanted to see how white rims looked on a black ITR..i say stay white man..no one ever does it and it looks kooooooo....when they get messed up or w/e...then you powdercoat them gunmetal..

 

That is a fair call actually seeing as they come in white only so I think I might just stick themon in white anddrive around for a while then I can have a colour change down the track and it is like a new set of rims

 

Good call man.... im prolyl gonna do that with the JDM ITR rims...leave em white till they are like gettin nasty..then voila...gunmetal...then ill have new rims..again...

If they're in good condition I say leave them white drive around for a while and see how you like them. If you end up wanting to change the color I saw powdercoat gunmetal.

Yeah I think i will put them on and see for myself and if they dont turn out I will powder coat them gunmetal or matt black
