rear tail light garnish differences
My 1991 civic si rear tail light garnish was a bit scratched up and the civic decal starting to wear off a bit.. I managed to buy the last available rear center tail light garnish (with silver civic decal) in Canada. This is from a 1989 civic Si, Part # 75520-SH3-960
The 90-91 civic si for some reason now come with the black 'civic' decal instead of the OEM silver. Dunno why Honda changed it !

Just how bad was the old garnish decal? From the looks of that Civic, I'd say it couldn't have been that bad. I've seen people do some amazing restore jobs on tail lights...just wondering why you didn't go that route?
^^ Im very picky.
Its not bad but the 'C' on the civic was a lil faded.. and the lense had some very faint scratches. Better to buy a new one while it was still available.
You cant tell from the pic, but the civic decal is a lil faded.
