hi, new here. just got my first car not too long ago a 97ex. don't know much about cars at all this being my first, so I might have some n00b questions but ill try my best to use the search button.


anyways to the point...my e brake light seems to come on when I take off in first an comes back on in 2nd when I get into higher rpms. it seems to go away in third. I've tried messing with the little adjuster under the arm rest but that doesn't seem to do anything. any ideas?

 

probably low on fluid... check the reservoir.

the original owner hooked it up to vtec lol

 

e-brake light coming on? kinda odd, maybe there's a loose connection and it connects under high rpm when the car is shaking more or something...

Not strange at all. Check your fluid. This is pretty common.

 

alright so i checked my fluid, was low. bought some, filled it up, and problem solved. thanks a lot guys.
