Good deal if it's a real EM1....your serial number does have the leters "em1" in it, correct?
Looks like the grill was swapped out of a jdm spec ctr one, not sure though. The front lip is after market. You should pick up some bumper plugs for your front bumper.

Couple of decent extra's in there too, good rad and header upgrades

Looks like the A/C is missing though

Don't advertise what you don't have! "Stock" the Si has over your model

- different cluster
- leather shift ****
- stiffer and springs by 25%
- larger rear sway bar
- leather steering wheel
- front upper strut bar
- different serial number

It's like going back to buy a classic Dodge 440 muscle car, then find out it's a swap job. I mean don't get me wrong it's still cool, not exactly the real thing.....you have a swapped EX, that's what your thread should sate, don't miss lead people!

Your car also doesn't appear to have any washer lines to the hood? The hood has been repalced, there are no emission decals on it any more.

It also has 'upgraded" seats, larger front sway bar, rear discs, cruise control, stock front lip (ps a stock lip would look better than than that "mugen" counterpart), upgraded exhaust, upgraded wheels, and def higher resale if it were an si

Also you didnt mention if it is salvage title

And i might be mistaken but is that the obd1 intake mani?

Wow wat a difference!! a different cluster ahahha everything else you mentioned i ahve sumthing better the shift ****? pshh it has a greddy 1, leather steerign wheel? gay anyways yes its an ex i guess with a swap.

upgrades include: b16a2 swap
JDM Password intake (or the whale ***** intake)
Invidia headers
Invidia downpipe
Clutchmasters stage 4 clutch
Si grill
Bodykit lips typer/Mugen rear lip
it did come with a cd player and decent speakers but no A/C

148k miles and 70k on swap has emmision for 2 years and the title is salvage/restored because it was stolen not crashed which makes no difference to me since the insuarence will not go up!

pppfft...the oem leather steering wheel is not gay, it's a lot nicer than the regular plastic one. Also, you don not have a Si grill, the mesh is different.

And last is salvaged....not such a great deal after all, it's ok, but not great. You say it makes no difference, not true! It affects resale!

X2 Your car has been in a front end collision. Looks like they replaced the hood. The bumper has been repainted maybe even replaced.(can tell by the overspray) They put an ebay grill on it as well. The driver light has a tab missing. The ground wire is going to the wrong spot. So my guess is they replaced the core support and had to get rid of the a/c. Plus whoever did the bodywork did a crappy job lining everything up with the bumper, hood, headlights, and fenders. And why is your engine slanted?

Sorry, but I think you paid to much. Even with the swap.

How does the rest of the car look? got more pics?

Wait... You have an "American" Si right? Not the Canadian one?

@OP

You paid that much for a car with no A/C? Also your hood doesn't have the rubber lining that fills the gap and your engine doesn't seem to line up correct and the left side of the motor looks slanted forward..

If you are talking to myself...i live in Canada. My car is a 2000 model EM1 known as an SiR, basically the same car, but add ABS and heated mirrors plus my car is silver which US model EM1 cars don't come in.

Yeah, Canadian EM1s were available in vogue silver metallic, unlike USDM.

I think OP got took a little bit. I'd ask about 4000 for my gsr swapped EX, and it's not salvaged, in somewhat better shape, and has equal or better mods.

The Si drivetrain does not an Si make. For better or for worse, part of the value of the Si model come solely from the fact that the vin tag has an EM1 in it. That makes it rare-ish, which makes the value more. Not to mention that a stock EX has no rear disc brakes, no rear swaybar, different shifter, different steering wheel, different cluster... All those things add up to the 800-1K more that an Si is typically worth over an EX.

wow ur pretty ****ing smart there, yea the inside is clean, and ur right about the hood it is kinda messed up. this is because the people who stole it wanted it to take the front end so they could swap there's... not crashed though and he gave me receipts of his swap 70k and its very clean and vtec hits very hard so it has to be kinda new or at least not old.
