I'm no electrical expert, but I'd guess that's the issue here. You have an engine, but are using a different engine wiring harness and have another engines electrical parts installed as well. Now I'm not saying that's a problem because I'm sure it's been done with success before, but you may need to up certain electrical things and lower others to find a balance. Sounds like the engine starts and idles low because it has little resistance at that point, but once the oil pump gets oil through the entire engine it bogs down and dies, which means something is causing the car to not rotate the crankshaft fast enough to overcome even a little bit of oil resistance. I'd say mess with the electricals first, then move onto mechanical problems within the engine.
ive been messing with electrical. ive got friends thats done the swap with this harness. its just they dont got time to sit down and help me figure it out. just weird how theres no throttle response at all.
Be sure to double check everything, basically re do the swap without actually re doing it, just go back over every step you took and see if it's something simple. I've done it a thousand times on my Toyotas, I sit there and spend hour and hours pulling an engine, rebuilding it and then replacing it and then it doesn't work, and it's usually something simple I overlooked like a vaccum line or a sensor.

i would make sure everything was properly grounded too, i swapped a b20 into my ej1 and wouldnt barely start at all. we went over our steps again and checked the spark and found a lost ground. connected it and it started right up. it prob is something stupid. it seems like it always is
i know for sure map sensor and tps are not switched. because the plugs arent long enough to even switch them. cuz i thought maybe i did. and yeah i did find one ground that i forgot but that was before it would start at all. ima double check vaccumm hoses and all my plugs. im over looking something
