Default Honda Civic Leaks Water in Rain!!!

My Honda Civic 2005 LX leaks water when its rains. The water comes from underneath the floormat on the driver side and I don't know how to stop it. My car is starting to smell and get moldy. Is there anything I can do to prevent the leaking. I looked all around to figure out what is wrong. Its not from the A/C unit or heater. Any ideas?

Thanks

I have the same problem but haven't addressed it because it's a "fair weather" car only. But, my guesses is it's either the inner door seal or from behind the fender.

First place I personally checked. These Civics aren't particularly water tight.

Well I have a 2006 Civic (hybrid) that leaks on Pass side in heavy rains.
Has nothing to do with the hybrid functions, but would like some guidance in tracking the cause or lack of seal.

Same problem but on the pass side front and back, but in heavy rains.

one way i did it was taking out the front seats and stripping the carpet. let somebody with a water hose spray the car down while you are inside looking to see where the water is coming from. then trace it down from there

Yep. You can get tracing powder (baby powder works too) to help identify the source a bit easier as well.

Well it's currentlly 14F and I am not about to remove seats and rug outside to watch bably powder trickle as much as I would like to (heh-heh).
It's apparently not leakage from the A/C so maybe the water dain from air intakes by the wipers are plugged (if they are there).
Any other ideas?
BTW, I was not driving it during the rainy session ~ 12 hours of wind driven nor'easter so I assume it is not the seals about the door on the bottom.
