Need some accord swap help
Here is what I have. I'm working on a friends 93 accord auto. which she broke the timing belt on. The engine had a lot of miles so she got another engine from a 96 accord an f22b2. before she broke the belt she said that it idled really really low around 4-500 rps at best after worming up. After the swap it does that still, even stalling out at times. Not only that but it has a code 12 on the ecu which is an egr code. and the tranny is got a code 15. I drive it up and down the road and that is when the codes start, both at the same time. However the car shifts well and runs well when driving, just not when you come to a stop.
So i used the egr off the 93 engine because it dident have a code before the swap and cleaned the egr ports. Still a code! and still a transmission code! any one have any ideas?

You have the vacuum lines for the EGR connected wrong. Look at the sticker under the hood, then look at what you've got on the car and see what you need to correct.
The only transmission code I can think of is your VSS, which if I was you, I'd pull the code to verify it.
The idle? can't you bump it up by using the idle screw on the TB?

I figured out the problem with the idle. I went back to the yard where I got the engine and the guy gave me a computer for it! Plugged it in and it idled just fine, and when engaging the transmission, idle increases about 100 rps to compensate. Now all I need to do is figure out the egr.
