After reading I tried to get back to the information posted on this but the ad/post has been deleted. Did some searching on the site however the only reason would have to have been incorrect price posted.

Sorry guys, I wasn't going to get any until NY's day.

Lock, I'll find something similar outside of SD I'm sure.

Autozone always has oil sales. It's always 5 quarts and an oil filter. It's just a special combination. Sometimes they have a good deal on the big jugs by themselves too.

Oh, and a lot of the time if you grab an air filter along with your five quarts and oil combo you'll save another $2 off the whole thing.

When you go into Autozone always grab one of their fliers. At the top, under the Autozone banner it will say when the sales run.

If you're military you get 10% off anyway, but they can't double any discount on top of another. Military and employee discount does not apply to oil and some other fluids.

But yes, sometimes they have decent deals on oil and filter combos. It's worth it to check just in case. I mean, even if you just did an oil change that day but you find your preferred oil and filter on sale, it's worth it.

Even if Walmart has it for cheaper I try not to shop at Walmart unless I absolutely have to.

Here's the current circular btw.

http://www.autozone.com/autozone/ino...s/circular.jsp

Oil change deals are always on the front and back of the circular.

Doesn't suck but last year Valvoline made a big deal of a particular test that M1 5W30 (and only 5w30) supposedly failed. I forgot the name of the test, but it's a test of cam wear during engine idle (that I believe is required by manufacturers in order to approve that oil for use in their engines). So if you use M1 at least try not to use 5w30. There was a long thread about this on www.bobistheoilguy.com
