Default drag racing the rex

I got a 91 crx si. Its got a d16z6 in it now and is completly stripped with one racing seat. I'm wanting to make it down into the 10's. Should I just completly build my d16 and turbo it or should I do a b16 swap and then wait down the road and build that and turbo it? For the price of a b swap I can completly build my d16 that I already have.

I guess my question really is will the build d16z6 turbo get me into the 10's or Am I going to have to keep saving and do a b swap then save a build that.

Get a B, build a GSR or something. Your goal will be easier to attain with a B series.

there are many fast d series out there it all depends on how much you willing to pay and how much work you are willing to do please reasearch to find out what you want to do with your car reason being is that everyone has a different taste in cars some like doch some like soch some say h series some like h2b research what you feel is right and if you really have a good tech question ask it

I would like to stay with the dseries if my goal is obtainable because Its cheaper to build and I already have one. If Im going to come up short of 10's then I would rather keep saving and do a b swap then build it alittle down the road

I know it's rare and most people start with b series but if it's doable then I rather save the 2k it would cost to do a swap and put it into this d16.

Good luck getting a D-Series built up that much for cheap. For that much money you'd be better off just buying a fast car to start with.

i would just do a B seires swap.. you'll prolly save money going that path too because the B-seires motors have much more aftermarket therefor making parts cheaper..
