im doing itb's on a d16z6
i been looking at setup's
on youtube and all the backyard setup's
how long do the motors last without being tune...?

or do they even need to be tune?

yea that is a not so smart Question. If you have ITB's obviously the car will be running alot different than that of a car with an intake manifold! Chances are your car will not idle properly or accelrate properly until it is tuned.

You dont need a tune bro. You only need them when you install an exhaust. ITB's is not forced induction so just slap em on and you should be able to rev up to 9 or 10k without a problem.

Tunes are for pussies.

OP you need to research stuff a little better if your asking to tune ITB's or not. it should be common sense none the less.

ITBs will be awful on that. Keep the manifold, you NEED the very little low end you already are lacking.

Tunes are for pussies? Yeah, that's why everyone sinking thousands and thousands of dollars get one instead of running a stock ECU. They just like throwing money away... yeah right.
