JUST GOT AN 05' S2K!!! FINALLY.
i got it for 16,750 and it was 18,250 after taxes and dealer fee. its got almost 28,000 miles on it. no problems accept its hard to push down the shifter to put the car in reverse, and i mean really hard. anyways tell me what you think.










for the reverse problem, try letting out the clutch a bit to let it catch. If you do it wrong it'll grind, but after awhile you'll be able to find the sweet spot

They command an extra $1000 approx. on asking price.

Swap all the fluids, give the air and cabin filters a good look and replace if needed, treat the seals, top, and interior, get a quality alignment to the UK specs, and enjoy a car that loves to be driven! As for the shifter, you may need to get in there and clean things up. Possibly some moisture contamination.

I am afraid even when things are working perfectly with the lockout, getting the gears to line up can take a few tries.

Judging by the amount of pictures of S2000's on this website and google, you should be able to notice that select editions came with analogue or digital.

its hard to push the shifter down to be able to put it in reverse not to actually put it in reverse or 5th gear.
im super pissed. i went to put in my alpine and i got a harness from walmart. it said 86-up hondas and on the back it said s2000 00-07. so i soldered all of the connections and hooked it up and it wouldnt power on. the thing is that there is 2 wire harnesses behind the radio and my harness only plugged into one of them, although my harness has two plugs but i believe the other plug is for older hondas. anyone have advice? let me know if u want pics of the harnesses.
