I want to get this clarified once and for all. According to the "Honda master weight list" floating around the web, the weight for an 89 Si is 2161lbs and the 90 is supposed to weight 2291lbs due to the bumpers/supports and doors.

However, an experienced national champion autocrosser who has exclusively raced ED7's, said the weight difference should be ~40lbs.

If you have an 89 Honda Owner's manual can you please check and see if the 89's (2162lbs) weight is correct?

Anyone know if the weights listed include standard options only?

I just noticed Under 3rd section Engine it says Fuel required Unleaded grade gasoline with 91 research octane number or higher lol
