Anyone using or have used the HTP inverting 201
Looks like a good deal for the money and I like how they say they can talk you through most of any type of fix the machine might need, worried about them taking a dive in this economy, hope not though. I’m feeling like it’s time to upgrade from the diversion 165 (anyone looking?)
Thoughts please?

Seriously? You've had your Diversion how long? You haven't been welding longer than me, I see no reason you should waste your money on "upgrading" at the moment. I think you should run your Diversion into the ground welding everyday before you even consider upgrading. Welding downpipes, dumptubes, and manifolds isn't going to max that machine out.. You should be doing fine with aluminum as well...
Wow, I’m not trying to say I have some mad skillz, which I must compliment with a better welder. I’m not very good at all, I do a lot of welding for friends that always seems to be really thick stuff, mostly half inch and the like for hanging targets, I’m also jealous of the pulse and being able to adjust ac balance, that’s all. The diversion is an awesome machine.
remember... you get what you pay for; that said.....
i own a HTP invertig 200 i bought in 2002 and taught myself how to weld on that. I used it for years and then bought the dynasty 300dx around 2005. The HTP welds great; is really easy to use and is just a great all around machine. It cannot be beat for the price as well! If i weld something with both machines; you would not be able to tell a differance!
The miller speaks for itself for the most part. Its a great machine but you are paying for it. My 300dx was 4x the price of my 200! you do get what you pay for though!(x2) As an experienced welder who does it everyday; especially in my field where I jump from welding 4130, to aluminum, to cast iron, etc. the dynasty's controls are much easier to access and run through menus; change settings; etc. If this is not something that concerns you; id probably save my $ and go for the HTP.
On a final note; nothing compares to my millers pulser and sequencer! the greatest thing since sliced bread!
here's some of my welds.
